This doesn't grind my gears, but why do we have Grandparent's Day, Mother's Day, and Father's Day, but no Kid's day? Lets get this straight...
Your mother and father both get to be honored on: their birthday & their designated holiday (Mother's Day/Father's day). I don't count anniversaries because if your not married to that person, you are not obligated to celebrate with/for them... That's what my father has taught me.
Your grandparents get honored on: their birthday, Mother's/Father's Day, and Grandparent's Day.
Now, what about us non parent/non grandparents? We only have our birthday.
What the hell Hallmark?

Harry Potter
There are a few things that bother me in the Harry Potter series… One major annoying thing is that Hogwarts can't seem to find a good dark arts teacher. What the heck?! It's so annoying 'cause every year they have trouble with it. If I was a student at Hogwarts and they had trouble with it, I would refuse to take the class. I wouldn't risk my life for a class… For magical people, they're pretty dumb.
By the way, how come we never hear about grades or graduations at Hogwarts?
